Description

This tool should be installed with Multiple floor (fixed base) package to:

Perform boundary elements free vibration, or forced vibration, or modal analysis of multiple floor building over fixed base.
Time history analysis can be performed for the building under earthquake loads.
Damping effects are easily considered using two techniques (Rayleigh and Caughey methods).

After modeling the tall building using the multiple floor (fixed base) package, the dynamic analysis is used from its relevant wizard.

After modeling extracting stiffness and mass matrices of the tall building, the dynamic analysis is performed.

After the solution, mode shapes, or the deformed shape at each time step can be displayed using the [ 3D Viewer Tool (OpenGL) ].

Also, displacement history could be exported to excel file for any chosen point in any floor and displayed.

This tool will be integrated with other under development package [ Dampers Package ] perform control analysis of buildings by adding dampers to the tall building.
Also, this tool will be linked with the [ Advanced Single-Floor (Foundation) Package ] in the future to perform dynamic analysis including advanced model of soil-structure interaction.
